Client: university project

Format: 235x203 mm hardback

Output: 36pp

This project was set to develop skills in long-form typesetting, editing and pagination. It explored how the page can be used to communicate information and how text can spread across the form of a booklet or small book to maximise its delivery. Principally, it should be an object that the reader wishes to keep and re-read.

Jasper Deane is a London-based painter. His extensive research into colour was collated and exhibited by Man & Eve gallery in 2006. Accompanying the exhibition was a catalogue complete with essays and full illustrations. This was Pippa's interpretation of the university project brief.
